NV RS-Special Task Force (NVRS-STF) was a special private militarized unit in R Syndicate, led by the former leader of Northway Faction, Nikolai Volkov. It was founded on January 6, 2018, and dissolved on February 19 of the same year. It consisted mostly of former members of Northway. The unit was mostly used in armed confrontations with Boreas Research Facility and Mikhail Kovac.
Incident at VC-3 Facility
On January 26, 2019, NVRS-STF attacked the VC-3 Facility owned by Boreas. The facility specialized in anomalous and highly dangerous research, resulting in mass casualties among the attackers and site personnel. The facility was later destroyed by Boreas to prevent further damage.
